Why I Chose Pitt: I chose Pitt because as soon as I stepped on campus it felt like home and I knew it would be an environment I would flourish in. When choosing Pitt I also valued the distance from home and the urban atmosphere that also allows me to partake in nature (Schenley Park is a 15 minute walk from center campus).

Why I Chose Pitt: I chose Pitt because there are so many opportunities in research and internships especially for pre-med! I also felt like the campus had everything I could want and there are so many things to do around the city. It gave me the perfect balance between the city and quieter areas that reminded me of home. There's always something to do on campus and everyone is very welcoming.

Why I Chose Pitt: My parents knew about Pitt and recommended I look into Pitt in the winter while I was applying to colleges. I wasn't able to take a tour because of Covid, but we did stop in Pittsburgh while driving through and I was able to see a few buildings from the outside. Ultimately I decided to come to Pitt over the other colleges I was accepted to because of their robust language programs.

Why I Chose Pitt: As a Pre-Med, Pitt offers so much in terms of resources Med School prep. There have nearby hospitals for shadowing, volunteering and clinical experience. They have nearby research labs to help with gaining research experience. And they have qualified advisors and student organizations who are well equipped in helping to guide us every step of the way.
