  1. Go to my.pitt.edu.
  2. Click on the myPittGlobal icon.
  3. Log in using your Pitt credentials.
  4. Search: Global Distinction Enrollment.
  5. Complete the online form.

Credential Requirements

To earn the Pitt Global Distinction, undergraduate students complete the following:

  • 1 Enrollment Form
  • 6 Credits of global course work (international/area/thematic studies courses) 
  • 24 Global events or activities
  • 2 High-impact global experiences
    • Beginner (complete one):
      • First-year seminar
      • Living Learning Community (Casa Cultural, Global Village)
      • Writing-intensive course
    • Advanced (complete one):
      • Service/community-based learning
      •  Study abroad
      • Undergraduate research project
      • Internship (at home or abroad)
      • Capstone course or project
  • 1 Reflection (unless pursuing a capstone)
